Super Salads contains
Our super salads contain all of this, and more:
Broccoli and peas
Two of the most nutritious green vegetables you can eat. I call broccoli the king of vegetables. It contains vitamin c, folic acid, iron, potassium and is naturally high in fiber. It can help prevent cancer, diabetes, heart disease, arthritis and aging and it is an effective antioxidant. My advice; eat some every day!
Lentils
One of the healthiest plant based proteins around. It helps to lower cholesterol and one serving contains 60% of your daily intake of iron. Good for weight loss as it helps you feel satisfied for longer. Our lentils are organic.
Sunflower sprouts -Solrosskott
Is regarded as a living food, (if still sprouting) and all living food is packed full of enzymes. Raw living food should be a large part of our daily diets to obtain maximum health. We all know that food eaten straight after harvest has the highest possible nutrient content; living food is still “alive”, therefore incredibly good for you. These sprouts are high in protein, chlorophyll and vitamins.
Brown rice/wild rice
Brown rice is rice with only the hull (skalet) of the rice removed, this means that contrary to white rice all the nutrients such as manganese, selenium, magnesium, B1, B3, B6, iron and essential fatty acids are all kept. Most of these nutrients are destroyed in the making of white rice. Our brown rice and lentil mix is the perfect protein combination.
Cabbage (vitkål/rödkål)
Cabbage helps the treatment of constipation, head ache, skin disorders, arthritis, heart disease and aging. It’s high in vitamin c, more so than an orange, rich in fiber and iodine which helps the brain and nervous system to function. Our healthy coleslaw has two types of cabbage and carrot in a low fat dressing.
Onion
An onion does so much more than adding flavor to the food. It’s a great fighter against cancer, heart disease, harmful bacteria in the colon and also a fighter against salmonella and E.coli.
