Kura is dedicated to offering you the best possible tea experience to either enjoy in the café or to take home with you. We have sourced the highest quality teas from around the world, some of which are rare, precious and uplifting and others familiar and comforting.

All Kura tea is served in a Zero t-pot, and will be brewed and strained for you at the teas optimum brewing temperature and time, so all you need to do is relax and enjoy a premium quality tea brewed to perfection. Pots serve 1-2 people depending on thirst levels!!

Green Tea

Green tea is tea leaves that have not been oxidised so they contain high amounts of their natural mineral content, they have high levels of health giving properties. It is said that a high consumption of green tea will help with all sorts of illnesses such as cancer, arthritis and helps lower cholesterol.

Grönt té har inte blivit oxiderat, vilket innebär att det behåller en mängd antioxidanter och mineraler. Grönt té kan hjälpa till att förebygga både cancer, reumatism och sänka kolesterolet.

Japanese Green Tea

Our Japanese green teas are a rare treat & come from the best tea gardens in Japan. Generally Japanese green tea has a slightly grassier, vegetable flavour because of its high levels of minerals.

Chinese Green Tea

Chinese green tea is generally slightly rounder and fresher in flavour to Japanese This is mostly due to the fact that most chinese green tea is pan fired after harvest rather than steamed.

Kinesiska gröna teer har en något rundare smak gemfört med de Japanska. Detta beror på att kinesiska teer är rostade över eld medan Japanska är vattenångade.

White Tea

White tea is the champagne of the tea world. When brewed properly it is a smooth, delicate and refreshing drink with a mild taste, it is virtually and caffeine free and absolutely packed full of antioxidants, even more so than green tea. It is also said to slow the aging process, and is great for digestion.

Vitt te är te världens champagne. Den är len och rund i smaken och uppfriskande med en mild smak. Den är så gott som koffeinfri och helt proppfull med antioxidanter, mer än de gröna teerna. Det sägs att vitt te motverkar för tidigt åldrande och är bra för matsmältningen.
